That's right Pennine Trailers, why should the weekend racers get all the bling... We've designed some fancy medallions for the whole trail series - not just one, nor two, but three medals to collect over the course of the inov-8 Pennine Trails September Midweek Trail Series.

Only £10 plus booking fee per race, on the regions best trails - and for our last ever series, only 200 places at each race. Book the full series and pay less on booking fees - winner!

So, does the winner take it all?

You betcha, the male and female winners of the series get a pair of inov-8 trainers of their choosing. There will also be an overall team prize, as well as an overall spot prize for the a local who completes all three races. We will also have 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes at each race, as well as, age category prizes.

PENNINE TRAILS - TRAIL SERIES T-SHIRT

The inov-8 Pennine Trails September Trail Series are special races to us, and after the reception they received on their inaugural year, it was clear they were special to you too. 

The three races are from the very village the team behind Pennine Trails were born and raised. The trails around Hurstwood and Worsthorne are some of the most stunning and enjoyable, yet untouched trails in the Pennines, and it was this driving force that inspired us to set up Pennine Trails and bring them to the attention of other trail running lovers across the country.

The series was our first with the leading Mountain, Trail and Fell running brand as the race series' headline sponsor - something we were insanely proud to have for the trail series.

All of this combined led us to the creation of our first 'collection' of our own brand of clothing, with the inov-8 Pennine Trails Series T-Shirt being the first - simply as our way of commemorating a very special set of trail races...

Everything you need to know before entering the inov-8 Pennine Trails - September Trail Series

  • When are the races?

    Gorple Rocks Trail Race - 6/9/22 - 6:45pm

    Switchback Valley Trail Race - 13/9/22 - 6:45pm

    Hurstwood Hill Trail Race - 20/9/22 - 6:45pm

  • Where does the race start?

    All three race HQs are from Simply Fields in Hurstwood.

  • Is there parking?

    There is plenty of parking at the Race HQ at Simply Fields

  • How much is it to enter?

    £12.00 plus booking fee - entry available on the day

  • I can no longer race, can I get a refund or defer entry?

    3 Months or More Until The Event = Refund (minus 20% admin fee), Deferral or Transfers Possible


    If you inform us of circumstances that change within 3 months or more a full refund can be issued minus a 20% admin charge and booking fee. You may also defer your entry (see below) or transfer to another runner (see below).


    3 Months or Less Until The Event = Deferral or Transfers Possible


    If you inform us of circumstances that change within 3 months or less we can defer your entry to the same event the following year, or an event in line with the same pricing structure if entry is available. You may also transfer your entry to another runner (see below).


    1 Month Until The Event = Transfers Possible


    If you inform us of circumstances that change within 1 month of an event, it is possible to transfer your entry over to another runner, and you will need to provide their name, D.O.B, email and club at no extra cost. Please email this information to info@penninetrails.com. The participant that takes the entry agrees to our T&Cs. The two runners transferring their entries will arrange payment and Pennine Trails holds no accountability for monies lost.


    1 week Until The Event = No Refunds, Deferrals or Transfers Possible


    No transfers or deferrals can be made within 1 week of an event. 

  • What shoes should I wear?

    On a dry day, road shoes or light trail shoes will be fine. In poor conditions, grippier trail or fell shoes may be advisable. 

  • Do I need to carry kit?

    If the weather is very poor, a waterproof jacket and trousers may be advised.

  • Will there be a bag drop?

    Bags can be left in the Race HQ, Pennine Trails nor Simply Fields are responsible for left belongings.

  • Will there be entry on the day?

    Should any of the 200 entries at each race not fill, we will accept entry on the day at £12. Get the entry in earlier and save the moolah.
